Residential Electrician Technician
Program Description: The program prepares students for careers as electrician apprentice performing tasks residential construction or services in the residential sector. This training program provides individuals with the skills, knowledge, and hands on experience required for a career as an residential electrician. 16 Weeks, 170 Hours
Residential & Commercial Electrician Technician
The program prepares students to their demonstrate ability to understand the requirements of the National Electrical Code in all: wiring installations, and apply knowledge in layout, assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of fixtures, devices, services, heating systems, pumps, motors, and motor controls used in residential, commercial, and some industrial locations. This training program provides individuals with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience required for a career as an electrician. 20 weeks, 270 hours
Journeyman Exam Preparation
This course provides preparation for candidates that want to take the Texas State Journeyman Electrician Exam. The course includes learning how to reference the NEC code book to look up definitions, wiring methods, electrical methods, electrical equipment, special occupancy, and more. The course teaches calculations for electrical services, feeders, branch circuits, motors, and more. We teach Ohm’s law, voltage drop, and other electrical theory calculations, along with safety and state law that is pertinent to the State Journeyman Exam.
